Transportation

since 2014 Airplanes (Boing 737 800/900) are operating between Muscat and Duqm six times a week. Alternatively, transportation from Muscat to Duqm (500 km) can be carried out by road. The drive through an untouched nature with sand dunes and camels takes in average 5 hours.

Transportation from MCT to Duqam and vice versa is available through various services such as a 4WD vehicle and Coach. ODC has a safe journey management plan to ensure a safe driving journey between Muscat and Duqam as per our HSSE guidline:

ODC journey timings:
  • From Duqm : morning 6:00 am till afternoon 1:00 pm.
  • From Muscat : morning 6:00 am till afternoon 1:00 pm.
